Welcome to Cumberland City Library Oral History Collection. These oral stories come from people of diverse background; they talk about real life experiences while living in the local government area, including their migration journey to Australia, some others reflect their experience living as a child during both World Wars. These sound recordings were sponsored by the Senior Citizens Week Committee, the Merrylands Community Centre from 1990-1992, the now vanished Auburn District Historical Society and former Auburn and Holroyd City Councils.
